So, my “season” has definately slowed down quite a bit. I hope that I get another bride or two before the year’s end… but if not, I still cannot believe how well this year has gone for me. It has definately been a BIG year.

My weekend was spent meeting with potential clients, watching my husband play bass, resting and going to the movies. Here’s my reccomendations:

Lars and The Real Girl- epically amazing. I loved every bit of this movie. Especially the singing. :)

Dan In Real Life- good. I love Steve Carell, so that sweetend the deal.

The Darjeeling Limited- better than I expected. I couldn’t get in the mood to see this one, even though I’d wanted to from the previews for a while. Someone told me it was “just ok” and because of that my expectations were low and I really ended up liking it.

Ok, those aren’t ALL from this exact weekend but…. Can you tell we see a lot of movies? It’s my husband’s favorite thing to do. Since we’re so busy and so often moving and shaking, it’s nice to just sit and BE together. I’m in for another long week without Josh around… he got a huge song package and has to start it sometime, right?

But- I booked 2 new brides! Yay! I love it when I get to add to the “family”. I really take my business so personally, it’s always a sigh of relief when, after meeting with couples or brides, I get the email or phone call telling me that they want to work with me! I really get wrapped into the details of weddings and am always so heart broken when I don’t get to see it come to fruition. The good part about that is I’ve only lost 3 weddings ever [meaning I met with them, or had a meeting set, and they didn't book or it didn't happen]. Only 2 went to other coordinators. I like that I can count them on one hand. It makes me feel like I’m doing something right!

Today is filled with more meetings and organizing… my freaky OCD side is creeping up on me! Here’s another couch photo for you…

Wish me luck!!!
