I can’t express enough through a blog how much I LOVED working with Leslie and Kevin! Their day was so relaxed, so full of love, and so FUN for all of us vendors! I know, it’s crazy, but it’s true! The couple was thankful, calm, and in love. A dream couple, if you ask me! But, we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The ceremony took place at their home church, Lifestream Church in Norwalk.
Leslie kept the aisle decor simple, tacking down an aisle runner and using bowls wrapped in cherry blossom paper, with large floating candles inside. Sprinkle down a few pink hued votive holders and petals, and we were good to go!
YAY!
Some of the details from the stage:
Onto The Radisson for dinner and dancing!
Leslie opted to do all candle-heavy centerpieces! We used TONS of pink petals and the rest, she pulled from various places for discount prices. The result was something gorgeous!!
These little pin cushions were 1 per table- and a family member hand-made them so that the families could pin money to the couple for their money dance!
Their favors were tealight holders in the shape of lotus flowers. They were this gorgeous deep pink color!
Only 3 floral centerpieces were provided, and an Aunt had made them. This one is from the sweetheart table:

The third option, brought over from the ceremony:
The grand entrance!!
Straight into their first dance!!!
Loved this lighting, LOVED this couple, how could I not snap 10000 photos???
A touching speech from her father, who shed some tears and surprised Leslie very much! It got me foggy eyed, for sure!!
The gorgeous cake once again! The 2nd tier may look different than the previous picture… that’s because it was backwards before. I had to turn the cake!!! Their cute little initials on that cake were TOO cute to miss!
Father Daughter and Mother Son:
They hired my FAVE photographer, Jonilyn to set up a faux photo booth at the reception. She brought a second camera to capture the rest of the night’s events- this is why I love that lady!!!
Their main photographer, Micah Gilmore brought an entourage with him as well [using Jon Chan as a 2nd shooter, and bringing his wife with him as a 3rd shooter] was amazing as well! I always love meeting new friends!
Onto the cake cutting!!
Micah’s same-day slideshow. I love this from photographers!!
Leslie made these CUTE details for the guests:
Their videographers put together an 18 minute amazing slideshow for them. Alex De Guzman is the name of the videographer, but I can find a link for them. Truly, it was a high-tech show!!
Their money dance was sure a hit:
THANKFULLY, Leslie provided the vendors with our own table in the corner of the room, by the photo booth station. Most unfortunately, right when Jen and I got to the reception site, she dropped a glass vase on her foot and broke her big toe… the rest of the night she was down for the count, but around for the party!
Right now, she’s praying that she won’t loose her whole toenail!
Time for bouquet and garter!
Seriously- at the end of the night, after all the guests had gone and the dance floor was empty, Micah and Christie, Jon, Jen, Josh [who came up and saved the night for me, helping me pack up and load up at the end of the evening, since Jen was hurt!] and I all sat around and talked for a while. It was a great end to an amazing wedding!
To give you just a LITTLE idea of the fun that was had… this is just one of the MANY vendor shots that was taken in the photo booth area:
Oh, photographers! You’re so silly!!!
To L&K: you two are the sweetest and most tender couple! I love your compassion and sensitivity for one another! This has been a long time coming, and your wedding was truly an outpouring of your love for one another! Thank you for picking me to spend this important day with you! I loved every bit of it!!!
