Ok, so this post is going to be light on the details shots. The day was hectic, hectic, hectic! So I didn’t have a ton of time to take pics AND I forgot to grab it before heading over to Calafia Park for the ceremony. Total sad face, I know. So you will all just have to use your imaginations for that part. Think beautiful ocean views on top of grandeur sea cliffs, a stunning white arch, dripping in flowers, and white folding chairs, adorned with lilac satin ties and rhinestone buckles. Swoon…I know. You can tar me later for not getting any pictures.
So on that note, lets skip forward to the few detail shots that I DID get at the reception. It was held at The Historic Cottage in San Clemente, one of my favorite little diamonds in the ruff.

Their beautiful centerpieces in pink, white, & lilac.

We brought in some lounge furniture to place in front of the cozy fireplace that the cottage has, so their guests could have a great place to relax once dinner was done and the dancing began.

There are those satin sashes with rhinestone buckles I was talking about earlier. Courtesy of Dress My Chair.

The roman arches from the ceremony were brought over and placed behind the head table, and looked so great framing Angie & Rob.

Angie & Rob decided to offer their guests some of their favorite candies as a treat. I love when couples take something like a candy buffet that has become pretty common lately, and personalize it like this. Who cares if they’re not all color coated in pink or red or blue? They’re all DELICIOUS! And Angie & Rob love them, so it makes the guests feel that much closer to them as they’re grabbing a hand full to stuff their faces.

And finally the beautiful couple! Sharing their first dance as husband and wife. It was so so sweet to see the way these two look at each other.

A wedding at The Cottage isn’t complete without adorable throw pillows for the perma-bench that was built into the grounds there. It’s such a fun space for guests to take a load off when there gams are gettin tired from shakin their tail feathers. Yes I said it…shakin tail feathers…that saying is so coming back. Just watch!

Quick Father/Daughter dance.

Followed by a Mother/Son dance.

LOVED these crystal details on the cake.

Time for a fabulous bouquet toss. Get ready girls!!

Love her face right here. :)

Now THIS is how you get ready to throw the garter! Check out that arc!

And I love that his guys really went for it. Most men at weddings tend to do the whole “I’m too cool to catch a garter” thing, but these guys were awesome sports! Even if you don’t want to get married anytime soon guys, don’t you at least want to win the “competition” of who can catch the flying object being hurled at your face first? :)

And then a final shot before the sun went down. Angie and her family and friends out on the dance floor, showing us a glimmer of what the rest of the night was like. Dancing, partying, love, and fun.
All in all it was an amazing evening. And mostly because it was an amazing couple. You can always tell how intense a couple is about each other from the way that they look at one another. With these two you could just see it, you know what I’m talking about, that it, that special something, that they share with one another even through a quick stolen glance from across the room. Like no one else exists and everything will be right with the world as long as they’re together. It’s that kind of love that makes me do what I do every day. Makes me smile at night, and makes me crawl on my hands and knees on wet grass in pitch black to try and find the missing satin napkin without a complaint, because it all means that I got to be a part of the day that joined this kind of love together forever. Angie & Rob, so much love and luck to you guys. I know you two are going to be so happy in your lives together. Always remember to love, laugh, and enjoy each other. XOXOXO!!!!
