This edition of Friday Lovelies is special for two reasons.
One because, well, it’s not even Friday anymore. Bear with me folks- I got home about 20 minutes ago from my long long LONG day full of errands and goodness. This was the first chance I got to be with you here on the blog.
Second reason- it’s personal. So personal in fact that I have been DYING to share but have tried my best to not “let the cat outta the bag” so I don’t jinx myself. So, yay. Here is what is, to me, ever-so-lovely on this day after Friday:
This, my friends… THIS… is 402 W. 4th Street. It’s in Santa Ana’s historic district and it’s all mine. My blood, sweat, and tears. My heart and soul. My passion, pain, and pleasure. 402 4th- meet my gang. Gang… 402 4th. I’ve had her for about 2 weeks now and, although she’s a big old empty space at the moment, I have visions of grandeur dancing about in my head for her. This is my brand new studio space. And I’m inviting you all to come and celebrate it with me. Now, I’ll send up an official “sticky” post about this next week, but in the mean time if you’re reading this, PLEASE RSVP to my little event- it’s welcome to everyone and anyone willing to come and visit. If you’re friend, family, client of past/present/future, or vendors of the same vein… it’d be an honor to see you on September 10th as we toast to the year ahead [and those that have passed us by].
To say that I’m thrilled- well, it’s the biggest understatement ever. I’ve been elated, petrified, and in awe. Covered in paint and hope. Filled with ideas. And I am so SO excited for the year to come. Another picture for you of me and my main squeeze:
[Please excuse the pillars, Josh thinks he's really funny to put them up as my first "window display". But, he's not.]
I can’t thank everyone who has been on this journey of a career with me ENOUGH for their faith in me. It’s your hearts that have pressed me on. I am so, so humbled.
Now, as I lay my head to sleep tonight [just shy of 4am, yikes!!], please know that I am thanking God for each of you- for helping this dream of mine come true.
Have a weekend full of life the way it was intended to be lived. And do it on purpose!
xoxo,
A.
